Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager and Hostess to lead our bar operations and ensure a warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere for our patrons. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bar, overseeing the front-of-house team, and contributing to the overall success of The Attic.
Responsibilities:
- Bar Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations.
- Create and maintain a cocktail and drinks menu in line with customer preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, and complaints, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Front-of-House:
- Greet and host guests, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Coordinate reservations and seating arrangements.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the front-of-house.
- Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Event Management:
- Work closely with event organizers to coordinate and execute seamless events.
- Oversee the setup, serving, and breakdown of bars during events.
- Monitor event schedules and ensure they run according to plan.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor and control costs, including labor and expenses.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bar management and front-of-house operations, preferably in a similar entertainment or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-demand situations.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
