The New Forest Comedy Festival presents on the 10th June 2023:
Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian at the New Forest Comedy Festival and writer whose work has been featured on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, QI, and Mock the Week. Jen’s stand-up show “Meaningless” can be streamed via Soho Comedy Live.
Alex Kealy has earned the label of “eloquent comic” (The List) for his performances on Radio 4’s The Now Show as well as writing credits for Mock The Week, The News Quiz and Have I Got News For You. He has supported Ivo Graham, Tom Rosenthal and Shaparak Khorsandi on their respective tours.
Stuart Law is a comedian who went viral worldwide for his Twitter thread about dirty plates in a cafe, an impression of Michael Caine saying NEVER in Batman or phoning a mobile phone number that was written on the side of a horse.
Tom Toal is a comedian, writer, and actor from Bexleyheath in the South East of London. Tom is known for his remarkable adaptability; he has hosted events ranging from an album launch of a post-rock band to benefit nights for the Socialist Workers Party and is comfortable performing for any sort of audience—from stag/hen weekends to art centre events or corporate crowds.
Esther Manito has been on BBC Live at The Apollo, DAVE Hypothetical and ITV2 Stand Up Sketch Show, as well as heard on BBC Radio 4 Newsquiz and BBC Scotland Breaking the News.
Joe Wells, another autistic comedian hailing from Portsmouth who has supported both Frankie Boyle and Alexei Sayle, completes this trio of talented performers.
Janine Harouni, a witty New Yorker, is one of the fastest-rising comics on the UK scene. Jack Skipper, runner-up of So You Think You’re Funny? 2022, has gained massive popularity through his online comedy content with 8 million likes on TikTok.
Mike Cox has been making waves in the world of comedy since 2011; he was awarded South Coast Comedian of the Year in 2014 due to his sharp observational style.
Andrew Bird is a well-known headline act throughout Britain and beyond; he has acted as tour support for Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon and Michael McIntyre on his recent arena tour including Wembley and the O2.
